So we arrived in Edinburgh in the morning. During our breakfast, we heard a young shepherd who complained of being tired because of his exploitation. Benjamin then had the idea to offer our help for a little money. The shepherd accepted our deal and we helped him part of the day. He also suggested that we come to sleep at his house for the night. Around 4pm, we made the decision to visit Cramond Island. It was an amazing place and particularly refreshing. We spent the evening in a pub and then we went back to the sheepfold.
For our last morning, we decided to take a walk to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. At noon we tasted a specialty called "stovie". For our last outing, we visited the Royal Museum of Scotland. Our last evening was fabulous as we enjoyed a wonderful festival called the Fringe which takes place in the streets of Edinburgh in August. With the money we had left for our last night, we decided to sleep in a hotel. It was a heartbreaking moment for us, we were heading to Edinburgh airport, and our adventure was over after 23 intense days with our friends.
