We left around 6am from Berlin. After spending 7 hours on the road, we arrived around 2-3pm in Amsterdam. We looked for a camping area, to sleep in the van. We also rented bikes to visit Amsterdam. Then we went to the Van Gogh museum (17 € per person). We had dinner in a small traditional restaurant.
The second day, we went to see the Rijksmuseum. It is the most important museum of the Netherlands, as much by its collections as by its size. We went to the church Oude Kerk (3, 50 € student rate). It's amazing that the ark is made of wood! Then towards the end of the afternoon we went on a boat for a cruise but we were not there to enjoy but to prepare meals and entertainment. We did the service, took orders, and did cooked (200 €). At the end, we slept again in our van and waited for tomorrow for new visits.
The third day, we all worked on our side, in groups of two, in different places. Benjamin and Jade worked in a sportswear store (80 €) as sellers. While Ophélia and Amandine were working in a cosmetics store as sellers(100 €). Then we went to the flower markets. We recommend it because the place is really cute. We ate a specialty of: poffertje (15€ per person).
We left our hosts at 8am and we arrived in Brussels around noon. We first ate in a nice brewery where we obviously ate some Belgian fries for cheap. Then we went to the atomium. it is the symbol of the power of nuclear energy in Belgium. We enjoyed a magnificent panoramic view. We continued our visit in Belgium by visiting the Grand Place. This place is known around the world because it is the central place of Brussels and it inscribed on the list of inheritances of UNESCO. Before heading back to 7pm, we took a Flemish waffle stuffed with brown sugar which is a specialty of Belgium that we paid 2.50 € each.
