We are a group of 4 students (Ophélia, Amandine, Jade et Benjamin) who decided to go to different countries and enjoy different cultures during our holidays we are making a Road Trip. We chose to start from Spain, then we'll head to Italy, after we'll be going north to Belgium, then we'll visit the England and we'll end our trip at Dublin.
After we planned this trip, we talked about it with our close family and friends. They all reacted differently. Some agreed with the idea while others refused it totally. Announcing it to our friend was quite easy and they were interested in it, they even asked us to bring souvenirs. On the opposite, for our parents their feelings were more complicated because we are their children, they worry about our security and the way we travel, furthermore we'll be far away from them. We kept their advices in mind, for example, we learnt some common words for communicating and dealt with how we could make our project come true.
The transport we chose to realize our Road Trip is the van because he allows us to go everywhere we want and it is cheaper than a camper. We found a van and we decided to rent it for 89 euros everyday. We found it on internet via wikicampers.fr a website who permit to rent between individual. It had to be big enough to put our stuff and for us to be comfortable, it has been important for us.
The four of us (Amandine, Ophélia, Benjamin and Jade), met to build our itinerary, we
choose to stay 3 days at each destination with the travel between different places. Then, we
took a safety a first aid kit for any issue, a tent and several sleeping bags.
Now that our organization is finished we are going to Lisbon. We leave by plane thanks to
our parents who were kind enough to pay us our tickets. We will meet you in Lisbon with
the van we booked. The adventure begin!
